CWT Corporation's Employee Resource Group (ERG) has been instrumental in promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) within the company. One of the most impactful initiatives undertaken by the ERG was the establishment of E.M.B.R.A.C.E. for Black History Month.
E.M.B.R.A.C.E. stands for Empowering Minorities to Build Relationships, Advance Careers and Excel. The goal of the initiative was to promote understanding and awareness of the contributions made by black individuals throughout history, while also fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace environment for all employees.
The ERG worked closely with our team to design and establish the E.M.B.R.A.C.E. program, which included a series of events and activities throughout the month of February.
