About

CWT Corporation's Employee Resource Group (ERG) has been instrumental in promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) within the company. One of the most impactful initiatives undertaken by the ERG was the establishment of E.M.B.R.A.C.E. for Black History Month.

E.M.B.R.A.C.E. stands for Empowering Minorities to Build Relationships, Advance Careers and Excel. The goal of the initiative was to promote understanding and awareness of the contributions made by black individuals throughout history, while also fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace environment for all employees.

The ERG worked closely with our team to design and establish the E.M.B.R.A.C.E. program, which included a series of events and activities throughout the month of February. These events included guest speakers, panel discussions, and workshops designed to promote awareness and understanding of black history and culture.

The program was well-received by employees throughout the company, with many individuals expressing their appreciation for the opportunity to learn more about black history and culture. In fact, the success of the program led to requests for similar initiatives from other groups under CWT Corporation's DEI efforts.

By establishing E.M.B.R.A.C.E. for Black History Month, CWT Corporation's ERG was able to promote DEI initiatives throughout the company. The program helped to foster a sense of community and understanding among employees, while also promoting awareness of black history and culture.

In conclusion, the work that CWT Corporation's ERG has done in promoting DEI through the establishment of E.M.B.R.A.C.E. for Black History Month has had a significant impact on the organization. By creating a series of events and activities designed to promote awareness and understanding of black history and culture, the ERG was able to foster a more inclusive and welcoming workplace environment. As the company continues to prioritize DEI initiatives, the impact of E.M.B.R.A.C.E. is sure to be felt for years to come.
